Terms of Service

By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy available at https://margentr.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. By agreeing, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Margentr is a profitability analytics tool for affiliate marketers operating on Shopee Indonesia or Shopee Malaysia who also run advertising on Meta (Facebook / Instagram). The Service ingests advertising spend data from Meta and commission / click data from Shopee, computes ROI per ad / Sub ID / campaign, and presents dashboards, reports, and decision aids.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and any session cookies issued by the Service.
• All activity that occurs under your account, including unauthorized access if your credentials are compromised through your own negligence.
• Providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date.
• Notifying us immediately at admin@margentr.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

You may use the Service to:

• Analyze the profitability of your own Shopee Affiliate activity and your own Meta Ads spend.
• Connect Meta ad accounts you have legitimate access to (your own, or accounts where you have been granted OAuth permission by the owner).
• Upload Shopee report files you have downloaded from your own Shopee Affiliate Partner account.
• Use the dashboards, exports, and reports for your own business decisions.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Shopee's, Meta's, or any third party's terms of service.
• Upload, sync, or access data belonging to third parties without their explicit authorization.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or any administrative functions.
• Use the Service to send spam, distribute malware, or conduct any abusive activity against Shopee, Meta, or any other party.
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service or any part of it as your own product.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service beyond the rate of normal human use, except via documented APIs (if and when offered).

Subscription pricing, billing cycle, trial period, and refund policy are governed by the terms shown at https://margentr.com/pricing and any in-app billing dialogs you encounter during checkout.

Payments are processed by Midtrans, an Indonesian licensed payment service provider. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to your chosen payment method.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where explicitly stated in our refund policy. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you continue to have access for the period you have already paid.

You retain all rights to the data you upload or sync into the Service (Shopee reports, Meta ad data, account configuration).

By using the Service, you grant Margentr a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account.

Margentr retains all rights to the Service software, dashboards, computed metrics methodology, and any aggregated, de-identified analytics derived from operational use.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms, including but not limited to Meta Platforms, Shopee, Midtrans, Hostinger, and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these third parties. Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform's own terms.

If Meta or Shopee changes its API, data export format, or terms in a way that affects the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to adapt but cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality.

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by deleting your account from the in-app Settings page or by emailing admin@margentr.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if continued service to you would expose us to legal liability.

Upon termination, the licenses granted to you under these Terms end. Your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion procedure (https://margentr.com/data-deletion).

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Margentr does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or that the analytics, ROI calculations, or recommendations produced by the Service are accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific business decision. You are solely responsible for the business decisions you make based on information presented by the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Margentr's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Margentr in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event will Margentr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, even if Margentr has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Margentr and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent courts in Indonesia.

If you are accessing the Service from outside Indonesia, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date and Last Updated dates above always reflect the current version. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
